For the remainder of 2021, the Museum of East Texas presents a series of exhibitions curated solely from the permanent collection. On view are important works of art by artists such as Ben Shahn, Leonard Baskin, Ancel Nunn, George Grosz, and Clementine Hunter, to name a few. Also included are historic artifacts from the 19th century, items that would have typically been used by early settlers to the region.
