The Museum of East Texas, in collaboration with 21st Century Texas ACE of Lufkin ISD, is delighted to host our first ever "Lufkin Living Library" on Monday, February 26, 2024.

Anyone who has a child or family member enrolled in ANY GRADE in Lufkin ISD is welcome to pre-register and reserve a 20 minute spot listening to a "human book." Participants will hear the life stories of their "books" and learn about the diversity of experiences in our wonderful community. Our "Human Books" are: Kelly Adams-Williams, Sally Alvis, Jeffie Brewer, Richard "Ricky" Davis, Wayne Haglund, Alison Hillis, Jenny McQuilkin, Dora Trekell, and Tavo Velazquez.

You are welcome to sign up for one book or up to three throughout the event. This event is free, thanks to our generous sponsors and members, but you MUST PRE-REGISTER for your book and time. We look forward to a wonderful evening educating and enriching our community!
