Clay Vessels (Grades 1-2)

Class Description

Class Title: Clay Vessels Date: Thursday, February 20 Time: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Grade Level: 1st-2nd Grade Cost: $8 per class Supplies: All supplies provided Join us for an exciting afterschool art class designed for young artists in 1st to 2nd grade! In these classes, students will learn art basics through a variety of media and learn a little art history along the way. No experience or prior art knowledge required! Classes will start promptly at 4pm, when you are able to drop off your child and pick them up by 5pm. We kindly request that all families ensure timely pickup of their children, as the Museum closes at 5pm. In this particular class, "Clay Vessels," students will learn simple clay-building techniques using air dry clay, create a pinch pot, and become comfortable making shapes out of clay. With time permitting, students will share their creations with their other artist classmates.
