Weaving

Class Description

Weaving can be as simple or as complex as your imagination allows. This class will learn all the different ways to make a loom from your fingers to hula hoops. Students will learn to weave their own fabric, a chair mat, placemat and scarf among other things. Snacks will be provided. This class takes place Monday through Friday (July 8-12) from 1-4pm. Students must be 11-14 years old to participate. Students must meet the minimal age requirement for an age group by the day the class begins. Age requirements are nonnegotiable and are strictly enforced for each class. There are no exceptions. Registration closes 1 week before each course. To cancel, you must call the museum as soon as possible. No refunds are issued after registration, including for "no-shows," with the exception of classes canceled by the Museum of East Texas. Classes must meet a minimum of 6 students to proceed as scheduled. Before enrolling your child, kindly verify the age ranges for seamless registration. Thank you!
